With so much going on in the busy season it can be easy to forget to post to Facebook or send emails about current specials and events going on at your course. We recommend scheduling your Facebook posts and emails ahead of time to ensure you keep your members and guests engaged and up to date. In this blog, we will discuss how to schedule these posts and emails.
How to Schedule Your Facebook Posts
You can schedule your posts natively through Facebook or through our free marketing tool, CampaignPilot.
Scheduling a Facebook Post Through Facebook
- From your News Feed, click Pages in the left menu.
- Go to your Page.
- Click Publishing Tools in the left column.
- Click Create Post in the top.
- Create your post.
- Click and select Schedule Post.
- Select the date and time when you want the post to publish and click Schedule, then click Schedule Post.
To reschedule, edit or delete a scheduled post:
- From your News Feed, click Pages in the left menu.
- Go to your Page.
- Click Publishing Tools in the left column.
- Click the Posts tab (should be selected already), and click the Scheduled tab slightly towards the right.
- Click the post you want to edit.
- From Post Preview, click and select Edit Post to edit the post. Or click Actions to choose to publish, reschedule or delete it.
- To see a history of all edits to a scheduled post, click Post Preview, and select View Edit History.
Scheduling a Facebook Post Through CampaignPilot
Scheduling Facebook posts through CampaignPilot is easy and time saving! First, you will need to verify that your Facebook Channel has been properly linked to your CampaignPilot account. (If you are a 121 Marketing customer and have a question about how to access your CampaignPilot account, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. To verify that your Facebook Channel has been linked:
- Log into CampaignPilot.
- Click the Settings tab at the top of the dashboard, then click Channels, to see if your Facebook Channel is properly linked (see connected status below):
- If the Facebook Channel has not been linked (see 'not set up' status below ), you follow these steps to configure it: https://help.campaignpilot.com/channel-setup/facebook
- Once you have ensured that your Facebook Channel is linked, you will be able to schedule your Campaign's Facebook post right through the CampaignPilot Dashboard.
To schedule the Facebook Post:
- Click New Campaign on the header of your Dashboard.
- Follow the steps. Towards the end of these steps, you will be able to add the text for your Facebook post, select the Facebook Channel and schedule it.

How to Schedule Your Emails (through your 121 Marketing Dashboard)
If you currently have a website with us, then you are probably familiar with our Email Marketing Tool. You can send emails immediately from this tool, or you can schedule them to help stay organized and save time. If you have never created or sent an email through our email marketing tool, we invite you to familiarize yourself with our step by step help tutorial on how to create and send an email.
- Log into the back end of your 121 website.
- Click Components, then Email Marketing New.
- Create your email.
- Once your email has been created, click the Send Settings tab.
- To schedule the email, click the Scheduled option and designate what day and time you would like this email to go out.
- Select Save & Continue
- Click Save & Continue again, and then click Confirm Campaign on the final Summary Tab.
- Your email has now been scheduled!
